Uniform

All Students (Years 7-11)

Our new uniform supplier for Academic Year 2026/27 is Wearabouts School Uniform.

Blazer

• Navy blue single-breasted, with the Academy badge and buttons (available from Wearabouts School Uniform)
• Blazer must be worn at all times.
• If students remove pullovers, the blazer must still be worn.

Shirt/Blouse

• Plain white, official Academy style only
• Academy tie - House colour (available from Wearabouts School Uniform and the School Office)

Please note the Academy expects a smart standard of uniform and requires all students' ties to be worn at six stripes long and shirts to have the top button done up and to be tucked in at all times.

Pullover/Sleeveless Pullover

• Navy crested blue V-neck or sleeveless jumper (available from Wearabouts School Uniform). Please note, non-branded navy jumpers are permitted.

Shoes

• Plain black leather (not studded, fabric or casual)
• Shoes must fully cover the top of the foot
• No boots (covering ankles)
• No trainers

Outdoor coats/Rainwear

• Plain navy or plain black coats, jackets anoraks or parkas
• No denim, leather or hooded tops, no patterns, insignia or other colour
• Safety stripes are allowed but no other patterns
• No hoodies are allowed and will be confiscated
• These are not to be worn in lesson

Skirt, Trousers or Shorts

• Stitch down pleated skirts, dark navy blue (knee or calf length) - not a box pleat or an elasticated waist skirt. 
• Trousers -Grey 
• Smart shorts -Grey 
• Both are available from Wearabouts School Uniform
• Socks/tights- plain black, white or navy (no patterned tights)

Additional Information

Jewellery

• Only a watch, one small pair of plain gold or silver studs/sleepers in the ears. - worn at the owner's risk, no other studs, no other jewellery or badges. Please note that Smart Watches are not permitted. 
• No facial/body piercing.

Hairstyles

• Hair ribbons, slides, etc. all plain (navy, black or white) one colour only.
• Small beads of one colour only are allowed.
• Hair to be natural colours only. 

Make-Up

• No make-up or nail varnish should be worn.
• No false/acrylic nails.
• No false eyelashes. 

Scarves

• Plain navy blue or black scarf.

School Bag

• Plain black or navy blue school bag.

Hats

• In winter only, pull-on woolly hats in plain navy or black may be worn to and from the Academy.
• Baseball caps are not to be worn and will be confiscated if worn.
• In summer, plain blue/white sun hats may be worn.

No other headwear is permitted to be worn in the Academy unless it is for religious reasons or because of a medical condition. In these cases, written confirmation is required from a parent/carer which will be kept in the student's file.

Equipment List 

Physical Education Kit

Pupils must purchase a branded PE Top, and branded Shorts/Skirt or Trousers. Only two items are required, from the following options:

• Unisex crested sports polo shirt
• Crested unisex sports shorts
• Crested sports skort
• Crested track pants

Pupils must also wear:

• White sports socks
• Trainers - suitable for sport, not covering ankles, not plimsolls or canvas trainers. 

It is recommended that a gum shield be worn for all hockey/rugby lesson.

In summer, parents should provide sun cream for student with an appropriate protection factor, and a water bottle. 

The physical education kit can be purchased from Wearabouts School Uniform
