A Message from Anna :

Congratulations to Anna Said who has been elected for the position of parent governor.

Anna is a senior nurse manager with 20 years' experience at St Thomas’ hospital children's emergency department. This gives her a unique view of the needs, challenges and wellbeing of our local children. Safeguarding young people is paramount to her role while supporting children and families through challenging circumstances and advocating for best outcomes. 

She has gained a wide range of skills to ensure high standards are delivered and targets met.  She aims to ensure that decisions made by the board are in the best interests of all pupils, challenging new policies and ensuring compliance to existing. 

She is particularly keen to ensure that all our children are safeguarded well and can fulfil their full potential whatever their background, special educational needs or disabilities.  She lives next to the school and is engaged in the local community with one year 8 child and another applying for 2023 admission.
