Culture Day - Wednesday 15th July 2026

What a day to end the year! Culture Day was everything we hoped it would be, and then some: a genuinely joyful celebration of the many cultures, traditions and identities that make our school community so special.

The day began with lessons carrying lovely cultural touches throughout, and honestly, the cultural dress from both students and staff was phenomenal and it was such a wonderful display of pride, colour and creativity from the moment students arrived. In the afternoon, we were treated to fantastic performances from bands across the school, while over at the Grotto, everything came together beautifully.

The Grotto was transformed into four continent stations: face painting for Asia, bracelet making for Africa, France vs Germany language games for Europe, and carnival and Day of the Dead colouring for the Americas. Add in a very popular photobooth, some candy floss, a brilliant catwalk competition, and music that kept the atmosphere buzzing all afternoon, and it truly was a day to remember.

A huge shoutout to our Year 12 students, who helped run the afternoon and made it even more special for everyone involved, and to all of our staff who supported the day from start to finish - thank you, we couldn't have done it without you.

A special mention for Andrew in Year 7, who took it upon himself to grab a bin bag and start cleaning up the Grotto; the kind of quiet community spirit that makes us so proud.

Thank you to our incredible school community for making it such a special afternoon. We're already looking forward to next year!
